Maki Fine Arts is pleased to present Summer Show starting Saturday, July 5, 2014 featuring new and recent works created by four artists: Shu Ikeda, Atsushi Tawa, Kazuhito Tanaka, and Wataru Yamakami.
Ikeda, who has received increased interest in his photo cutouts, will present works shown in Japan for the first time, and Tawa, in his first show for Maki Fine Arts, will reveal his new abstract prints. Tanaka, known for his photography work that examines the boundary between abstract and concrete, will feature works from his "blocks" series, while Yamakami, recipient of the 2013 Tokyo Midtown Award competition Second Prize and Audience Award, will showcase his paintings.
